We {heart} Napoleon Dynamite

All right. We must let it be known to the world that we are Napoleon Dynamite's biggest fans. There is nothing that we do where we cannot use a Napoleon Dynamite phrase for. The kids have picked up on it as well, and Kamy has even gone so far as to ask me to do her hair for school in a beautiful side ponytail like Deb. Well, I guess I have to draw a line somewhere...but as for the wonderful catch phrases that are sprinkled throughout that movie, they are all up for grabs.

So tonight, Kamy and I were playing the Wii and the boys were watching. They did not clean their rooms last night (but Kamy did), so their punishment was to sit and watch Kamy have fun playing. Worked like a charm. They were very much interested in cleaning their room tonight so they can play tomorrow.

Anyway, Kamy and I were playing, and I hit a pretty sweet homerun, so I said with my best Napoleon voice "That's what I'm talking about!" Heath and I give a high-five to each other, and then we hear Keaton, in a grumbly-but-still-Napoleon-voice say "That's what I'm NOT talking about" It was the funniest thing we've ever heard.

That is hilarious! we love that movie too. The Napoleon Skywalker link you had was terrific, the best was him drawing Princess Lea, I couldn't stop laughing.

All of my kids wear side pony tails or side messy buns to school. It is a big thing here. Except u have to wear it low and not high. I made that mistake and Aleah told me not to do it again.

You are the biggest fans. You even have the dances down and everything. Hey, how close are you to charleston?

Well, I am sending Tom your way this week for awhile. Ifigure he can bring you some refired beans, since I am a slacker. I thought that you guys lived there, or at least a suburb. He'll be happy to know someone in the area.

So funny! Great punishment, BTW.

We are GIANT Napoleon fans here, too. Phrases are repeated why too much here as if it were real life. Crazy, we are.

We also really like Nachooooooo.
