However, these were gifts that I made for others. I made 5 dolls for 4 of my nieces and one nephew.

Two purses for two of my sisters.
Some aprons and potholders and a few flour sack towels for all the parent figures in our life, and for my little brother.
A Name Sign for another sister. Yes. Her last name is my husband's first name. Weird.
If you ever need to make a purse, or a doll, I've become an expert at it!! All in all, I really enjoyed our homemade Christmas. I hope you try it sometime. It was so rewarding. That, and a few months ago, I could barely sew a straight seam. I've come a long way. Next thing I want to learn...how to crochet and knit.

Your sewing exploits are far more impressive now that I know you're a beginner!
So stinkin' cute! I love that little purse and Name sign. Is that made out of wood letters?

Okay, Wonder Woman, I am totally inspired! This year Christmas may just be totally homemade! :)
Wow - great projects!! Those dolls are especially adorable. I made some things for Christmas this year, too, after learning to sew last summer, and everything turned out so great - it was really rewarding to see something through from start to finish and then see how much my family and friends loved their gifts!
