Baby's pericardial effusion isn't any better, and is possibly even worse, so they are sending him back to surgery today, to place a drain in the area around his heart. The drain will probably be in about 24 hours, and after that, if nothing else develops, he can start his recovery again, and we can have a plan to go home...eventually.
I am repeatedly told that the surgery is more of a "procedure" and is very minor, as far as surgeries go. I am praying that no complications arise. I will update you tonight, on how he is doing.

Sorry to hear that Kimble has to go through another surgery so soon... Will be thinking of him throughout the day and hoping for again, the best possible outcome... If his Dr's are saying it's not a major surgery, believe them - they won't downplay something so important. Hang in there!!

So sorry that he has another surgery/procedure, but hopefully this will start up the recovery process and can get you guys home soon. hugs.
