Weekend Plans

As most of you are already aware, Kimble will have his heart surgery on Monday, June 21st.  In preparation for that, Friday we have lots of pre-op appointments up at The Children's Hospital.  On Saturday, Heath is driving the four older kids to Utah so that they can stay with my brother and sister for two weeks.  Heath will fly back home Sunday afternoon.  Once Kimble is admitted on Monday morning, I will stay at the hospital with him for the duration of his stay.  Heath will be with me the first few days, and then he'll probably go back to work some of the days following.

We hope it's just a two week stay in the hospital, but complications, infections, and and abundance of fluid around the heart (all of which happened before) could make for a longer stay.

Just like before, I will update the blog regularly.  If you have a prayer or two to offer during that time, we would appreciate it.

will certainly be praying for kimble and for you and heath as you travel this road. i know it's very scary, but Jesus told us not be be anxious about anything (luke 12:26-34).
praying that your heart will be free from anxiety as kimble undergoes his procedure and recovers.

I will definitely be praying for you, Mr. Kimble and the rest of the family as well as the doctors and nurses. May you be a shinging light to them. Praying that everything goes smoothly with no complications and wisdom for the doctors.
