Trouble

This is what Heath and I get for sleeping in on Saturday. We should have assumed that George would get into the bathroom and spread the whole tube of desitin all over the rug, stairs, walls, and herself. We were quite impressed at how even she got the coverage around her face. She sure has been watching daddy shave!

I put her in the bath to wash her up. I tried her baby wash three times before I realized I needed something stronger. The next step was T-Gel. Smells yucky, but it's strong shampoo. It left the bathwater orange, but there was still desitin all throughout her hair. So next came dishsoap. It's selling point is that it cuts grease, right? Didn't work. Next, my smart husband decided to put some de-greasing hand soap on her hair (the kind that mechanics use after they've been working on the car). After two shots of that, her hair was beautiful and soft again.

And this is the reason, dear friends, that we still call her George. Dang it all if she is anything but curious!

She has been watching her daddy shave far too much. Just a good thing it hasn't been you or her poor little skin would've been worked over. . .

Oh my goodness!!! If it took all that to get it off George, how did you get it out of the carpet?

AAAAGGGHHHH! Thats the kind of mess you can't even get mad at because your to busy thinking of the things you have to clean up and when they give you those eyes that know they are in trouble and are just waiting for it- you can't give it to 'em

Shaina,
I love reading your blog!!! You have great ideas, and I look forward every day to reading them. I can't believe I missed an opportunity for another drawing! Darn it all!!! Anyways congrats to those who won. Way to go to Keaton with the frogs. That is amazing that he could tell you the whole cycle, and good job with the drawing also. Loved the scrapbook layouts that you did, especialy the one in Hawaii, that is to cute! Loved Kamis drawing of the baptism, hilarious! She is really good, go Kami!!! I love your house, can't wait to see more, oh and you look great!!! Of course you should have known George would go for the desatin! That is crazy. =) She is a curious George and she has been watching her daddy shave. I'm glad you were able to get it out of her hair and off of her. Sorry for the long post, but I had to do a little catching up. =)

OMG - this is too funny!! I love the face coverage - perhaps watching Heath shave should be banned. Thinking we will have to put the rash cream up really high now at our house. Did it come out of the carpets?

Been there. Hazel is into everything and tries to rub whatever she can all over herself. But how cute it is when you find them. One time Xanen took my mascara and he tried to but it on his lashes, he look like he should be goth or a football player. He was about George's age.

How do you keep from laughing when you first came around the corner and saw her? I never knew it would be so hard to get it out. Such a funny little girl!

Oh, my goodness!

And what a feat just to get it out of her hair. Sheesh!

These are darling, darling pictures, though. I can't wait to see how you turn them into a scrap page. :)

Hey Shaina, I just had an idea: I think you should write a Children's book! You have such a way with words, and rhymes, that you would do a great job of it. then you can dedicate the first (of many)book to me, for encouraging you to do it. What do you say?

OH MY HECK! You have to enter those pictures in some mischevious child contest or something. I just can't believe the sheer quantity of Desitin!
