You and Me

Jenni posted this on her blog, so I thought I'd be a copy cat and post it on mine too.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Let's see whatcha got!

SCRAPBOOKING!!! That's what sticks out in my mind...remember that day you came over and we let the kids run loose downstairs in my house and we went upstairs to scrap?? That was super fun! I just remember you being one of the first people that tried to be a friend to me when we moved here and I always appreciated that!!!

Lets see, what can I pick out as my favorite... Well my very first memory of you is seeing you and Heath walking to church from our old apts. at the Quadrangle, and thinking- I bet they go to our church! Sho 'nuff! Then there was that birthday where I thought I was getting you a really cute picture frame, but I forgot how much you hate bees! You teaching me how to make the best ever mashed potatoes and gravy, coming to see you after your first three babies were born (Kami at your apt, the boys at the hospital), our garage sale, our garden and the disturbing weeds that kept popping their 'heads' up, the great surprise baby shower you threw for me... And of course the amazing vacation we had when we came down to visit you guys in CA. Those are a few that stand out. ;)

Hmmm.... there are many! I loved all of your lip syncs that you did. The girls just want to have fun, millie vanillie ( I can't remember which song for sure), sons of provo, I think there was 1 more, but i'm not sure. They were all so brilliantly done! So hilarious, I laughed so hard!!! Thanks for always making me laugh! =)

Remeber back on the ranch and mom and dad were leaving to go somewhere (not sure where they were going, I think they just wanted to get away from all the kids). We asked if we could have the watermellon. Picture Shaina holding the watermellon and me taking the knife and cutting it like I was killing it. I cut her fingers. Mom and dad had to come back. We didnt get to eat the watermellon.

I loved how I could just pop over to your house and hang out, I loved sitting and talking while the kids played. Also when you taught me and Stacy to make those really cute blankets. I was on base this week and I was sad because I couldn't just show up on your font step!

Girls Night Out at Kelli's - full of games and fun all stored in your head. Still not sure how you can remember so many games.

I have Lot's of nice memories of you but my favorite one is of you at my baby shower you were taking pix of my little belly and and the way I was posing you said it looked like I was trying to give birth out in the grass. Not a good thing to say to a 9 month pg lady with a full bladder. It really cracked me up.
You were always good at making me laugh.

When we first met you walked up to me at church and before you introduced yourself you said you'd been wanting to meet me and then you asked me to wait for you to go find your husband and kids so we could meet. I waited for a couple minutes and then left becuase I thought you were rude. :\ I'm so glad we did finally actually meet and become friends because you totally rock! ;)

Long long hair, Mr Deboard, camping trips, butterfly language, all the stories we co-authored, living in the camper, living in apts, eddie, golden oldies, scrapbooking.. in the days when we want to throw away the pages and start over. I could go on and on. I wish I had more recent memories but playing games before you left for GA was loads of fun. Love ya NA

I have one more memory that I absolutely love. When I was preggo with Maddie and we went to red lobster for dessert and girl talk. You ordered the key lime pie, and I ordered the chocolate cake. I loved your reaction when they brought the dessert to us. Mine was this huge piece, and yours was this dinky slice. You even said something to the waiter about it. He just laughed and moved along...you were like i'm serious! Sorry that you got such a dinky slice, but you were fun company! Also you taking my preggo pictures with Madisynn, you did such a great job! I will always treasure that, and it made it even more special that they were taken on the day that she was born right before or little secret! =)

I just loved hanging out with you: making finger puppets, blankets, anything I could possibly absorb from you was great. I do remember our first couples trip to the temple and the lesson you taught me on the importance of tying a pretty bow!
