Winter Wonderland

It's snowing here. We woke up to snow on the ground, and it hasn't stopped all day. It's been beautiful, light, and fluffy and soft. We haven't had a season of snow in 5 years.
However....we don't have snow tires yet. Yikes! One more thing to add to the already crowded budget!! But this month of December, starting tomorrow, is going to be so lovely! I've got my knee high socks on, my soft scarf around my neck...I'm cozy warm inside and it's beautiful fluffy white outside. All I need is some hot chocolate. Life is good.

Oooh! it is so beautiful! It reminds me of our amazing holiday in Toronto last Christmas. This year we are looking forward to Christmas in 40C heat...how's that for contrast????

Hugs to you all!!!

Awesome! Do you have one of those groovy hot chocolate makers we all bought at the BX at Travis? If you don't you should get one! :)

I wish our snow here would stick... So far it just melts and makes everything slippery. And we don't have snow tires yet either... So I guess it's good it's not sticking yet.

PS I made Cranberries in the Snow for Thanksgiving and it was a total hit! Thanks! :)

Oh how lucky!!! We just get fluries in Texas.. and everyone freaks out when it happens (schools, work, etc... closed). If we got that much snow I would have a stay at home snow day!

It's so nice to snuggle down in warm clothes and some hot chocolate. Snow is pretty, but I wish the winter here were shorter. I jsut want snow around the holidays, then after Jan 15th it's time for spring!
