Another year gone by...

We celebrated Georgie's birthday. She's not a toddler anymore. She's grown into a sweet and sometimes sassy 3 year old. (and some days, I can't believe we are still calling her Georgie. But honestly, it is part of her. I don't know if she'll ever grow out of it. Or maybe I won't ever grow out of it!)

She is very much a sweet little girl. She loves to be creative. She loves coloring (prefers markers over those baby crayons...) and cutting with scissors (we were able to disguise the damage the scissors did to her bangs) and playing with her babies, which she calls her "girls". She would rather wear a skirt than pants. She wants to take a bath everyday. She loves wearing her boots. She loves to give hugs and kisses. She loves spaghetti, fruit snacks, and cashews. Her favorite shows to watch are Go Diego Go and Dora. She likes to put on chapstick but prefers to get into my lipstick. In essence, we all adore her.
We always take a "family picture" when it 's some one's birthday. So here is the picture we took last night. We are getting good at setting the timer, running back, getting everyone in place, and waiting for the picture to be taken.

See that balloon she's holding? She didn't let go of it all day. For lunch, I met up with a new friend at Chic Filet. While we were there, she won over the cashier after telling her her name was Georgie and after I said it was her birthday. The nice lady brought over a balloon with a little cow hanging down from it, saying "Eat mor chikin". Georgie was so very happy, because she really loves balloons.

A few minutes later, her balloon popped..really really loudly...and it made Georgie cry very hard. The lady brought back another balloon for her. Georgie turned happy again. She hasn't let go of the balloon since. She even tried to open her presents one-handed.

She got an AquaDoodle. Two of them actually. One was a smaller size she could use in the car and at church. We showed her how to do it. Then everyone was interested in doing it. Daddy especially. She waited patiently until he was done coloring. lol.

Her water pen had a "spray" function on it too. Daddy showed her how it worked, spraying her in the process.

She thought it was so fun, that she then tried to spray her brother!

Then we had brownies and ice cream (none of my kids really eat cake) and she was dancing in her chair as we were singing her happy birthday.

She had fun trying to blow out her three squiggly candles. She kept blowing and blowing, and she couldn't blow them out. Then Keaton decided she had tried long enough, and he blew them out for her.

Happy Birthday Georgie/Kennedy!!

P.S. It's still not too late to enter the Giveaway!
