What am I doing Awake??

Don't you hate those nights when you wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep? After laying awake for a bit (is it laying or lying??) Georgie woke up crying, so that gave me something to do for a while. She's such a cuddler at night.

I've checked email...looked at blogs...updated Facebook....stared at the wall...

I'm running out of things to do that are quiet.

The thing is...I'm so tired. I just can't go back to sleep. I'd write up a childhood memory for you, that I mentioned a few posts down, but I'm not sure my brain is as awake as my body is. By the way, which story intrigued you? Which one should I tell first?

I'm gonna go back to bed now.

So sorry about the insomnia, girl. I'm with ya! Too bad we didn't connect via chat at three a.m....

Your stalker story intrigues me because I had a stalker a few years back myself.

Oh I hate nights like that. They happen to me all too often. The dogs usually get up with me and come hang out in the craft room until I go back to bed. It's comforting to have them there with me.

I've had nights like that too and usually try to read.

I need to go read your stalker story.

Have a great day!

I heard about this software program (on NPR) once to prevent people from emailing when drunk, high, or sleepwalking. I guess there had been a rash of people sending embarrassing and confusing emails without remembering doing so. (Comparative to "drunk" dialing I suppose.) Anyway, this program requires the user to answer a series of rather complicated math problems (after 1 am) before the email can be sent. So I guess the question now is, DO YOU REMEMBER POSTING THIS?

Hey, I know what you mean being up at night, I have been like that a lot lately, But you are lucky to be able to get on the computer, I cannot because I cant turn it on without the password. ;) Anyways, try giving me a call next time and we can chat it up. Love ya.
BTW, this is my new and imrproved blog, spread it like wildfire!

It is Lying awake. If you use Laying awake, it is saying putting awake, becasue to lay, can be substituted with "to Put".
I am 100% sure! I remember having this lesson in my Enlish class in college.

Those nights are so rough, but somehow kind of nice being all alone in the quiet with no interruptions. I have had those nights more and more frequently. I must say I get a lot of blogging done though.

Sounds weird, but I don't sleep when there is a full moon. I hope you sleep better tonight. Benadryl which is Diphenhydramine is a non habit forming sleep aid if you are ever desperate.

I want to hear the story about dad catching you on the highway.

I hope you get more sleep tonight! I have a hard time getting back to sleep when I've woken up too. Especially after a certain point in the night. Great journals tonight at scouts!

You totally could've called me...it's funny...I have narcolepsy (fall asleep all the time) but I can't sleep at night (insomnia)...how is this possible?

Any of your stories would be fun to read...

Call me next time...

I was awake at the same time you were! I saw on facebook that you has just updated your status. But of course, I was being paid to be awake in the night...

I had a couple of weeks while Superman was gone where I woke up every night at exactly 3:47 am every night. I should have gotten up and blogged. :]

I can't wait to hear about the watermelon and butcher knife! :)
