Rib Man

Last week we treated the kids (and ourselves) to lunch at Texas Roadhouse. It's not very often that we go out to eat, and after we got the bill, we were reminded why. However, everyone loved the food. I, especially, love the rolls with the cinnamon butter. So good.

So Georgie and Kolby both got mac and cheese. Georgie still wants to sit on Daddy's lap as she eats.

It was discovered that Keaton is a rib man. He was so sure in what he wanted to order, and after he started eating his ribs, kept telling our waiter how good they were.

I ordered the chicken fried chicken, with mashed potatoes and white gravy. Quite possibly my favorite meal ever. Kamy normally goes for the ribs, but for some reason, this time she just wanted the chicken strips. I think she wished she ordered the ribs after hearing Keaton go on and on about how fantastic they were.

Not much more news going on over here. I have to apologize for the lack of posting, and lack of creativity lately. I've been feeling a bit under the weather, but I think I'm on the mend. I think my immune system has just been lacking in strength. Anyway, thanks for sticking around. I'll try to come up with another story from my childhood for you. Soon.

Texas Roadhouse is one of my favorite restaurants! I love their rolls and cinnamon butter too!!! I love watching them make them through the bakery area while we are waiting for a table. I heard they marinate all of their meats overnight and that is why they are all so tender and delicious. They also use the same seasoning on everything. The server gave me a big container of it the last time we were there since I asked what they used. Nice... very nice....

I enjoyed reading about your rib man! Cute story.... Keep writing - you are great!

You are such a good example. We eat out way to much and try cooking new things way to little. Glad you enjoyed your dinner out! Hope you're feeling like your Wonder Woman self again soon! :)
