What Time Is It?

Time for the last giveaway to celebrate my blogiversary!! I must say, I was so happy reading all of your lovely comments. I'm so glad you like my little blog and my recipes. I feel surrounded by friends.

Up for new ownership is this watch bracelet. It's not bulky at all, for those of you who don't like big chunky bracelets. It can be worn with a multitude of colors, and it's made by me. That should make it desirable, right? The only thing about this bracelet, is that even though it is stretchy, it might not fit some people's wrist. If you win it and it's too small, you'll have a great gift to give someone.
Anyway, as you can tell from this blog, I love to explore the crafty depths. If you have come across a cool crafty idea, or something fun to make, or pretty much anything to make for a baby (I'm in the baby zone!), then leave a comment with a link so you can share the crafty love with me and everyone else. (Even if you don't have a crafty idea for me, you can still leave a comment to be entered in the drawing.) I'll draw all the winners, for all the giveaways, tomorrow. So you still have time to enter all of them.
Thanks for being part of my celebration!

I love your watches! And your purse craft has caught my eye. Your blog is so much fun because of these (and many other) little nuggets of goodness. You are one talented woman, Shaina!

Love the way you don't ever let "life" get in the way of being yourself and exploring your creative interests! The rest of us benefit from your example of using our talents!

ok, so I will share a blog with you that I also find inspiration. However, it is not baby inspired. . . http://www.princesslasertron.com/ I ever so wish I was this talented.

You have been so generous in your blogiversary. I am thankful to know you.

I came across this great blog:
http://tipnut.com/50-free-projects-for-baby/
Tipnut has put together several of her fave baby crafts from other people. I'm thinking after four kiddos you have the 'diaper' situation pretty well pegged. :) However because she has taken crafts from so many other people I thought you may find it fun to browse the the other blogs for craft ideas.
I will tell you my fave craft from Tipnut & see if you like it also.

I like the 'Hip Mama Diaper Bag' under Diaper Bags & Cases.
(here is the direct link: http://amingledyarn.wordpress.com/gallery/tutorial-hip-mama-diaper-bag/)

Kudos to your crafting ability!! The WATCH is AWESOME!! :)
Have a fabulous day!

Hugs-

Of course, I love your purses and your jewlwery and everything else you make. The baby stuff you gave Jacquie at her baby shower was adorable!
I have a friend that makes personalized bean bag chairs for her kids. They are adorable! She uses really cute fabric and puts their initials on them. She might try to sell them, so I don't know if she is giving out the pattern or not. If I get the pattern, I will give it to you.
I really like the watch, but would you be willing to put this comment in the drawing with the recipe book, that way I have two chances of winning it?

I'm currently making one of these:

for my daughter for Christmas. It's coming along nicely, and has been quite inexpensive to make. I love all your crafty and inspiring ideas! Cute watch!!

Love the watch. I haven't worn one for years...maybe it's time!

My sister is of the scrappy-crafty variety, so here's a link to a post where she shows some of the layouts and cards she made for a class.

I don't know how you do all that you do. I get an idea and before I can really do it a child has called me away and I never seem to get back to what I wanted to do. I'm still planning on making that purse you did if for no other reason than to say I did it. Take care.

Heidi said...

You are good at all the crafts I've seen you post since I've been reading your blog.

Thank you for all that you share with us.

Forgot I was going to tell you that if you are interested in cloth diapers that don't need a protectant cover over it let me know. DOug's cousin is making them and loves having cloth diapers without the mess of diaper pants over them. Let me know.

My sister in law had this wipe case that they covered up with some cute fabric and ribbons. We even saw them selling those in UT for 18 bucks. All it is is a dollar case and some fabric. It turns out really cute. The watch is really cute. You are so creative. :)

Here is my crafty idea. I haven't yet made one for myself, (and the one pictured isn't my fave) but you could really do something charming I'm sure.

these watches are amazing!! I saw your instructional how-to and will definitely be trying once I get some free time.... but in the mean time maybe winning a hand made one by you will suffice! ;)

That is such a beautiful watch!!! Here's a craft I made a couple of years ago for my first daughter. http://stacey-scraps.blogspot.com/2007/12/shadow-box.html I just found another one of these shadow boxes and am going to make one for DD#2 being born TOMORROW morning!!!!

Hey so I am on my own blog today posting as me!!! Anyways, I do not have the link for it but sharon showed me a really cool site that teaches you how to make a new carseat cover for your baby carseat. It is fun and way cute because you can chage the seat to look like you want and maybe even make a diaper bag to match it. anyways ask sharon because I think that it is something that you would really like to try to do. Also as much as I love the watch it is true that I have much bigger wrists than you, and because of this I am willing to give up the watch, also because I know that you will be giving the recipe book to me and so its not fair to take both items. I love you, thanks for posting so many great things on your blog and for inspiring me to build a blog and post.

I love your blog! I have been reading it for so long now that I feel like I know you! I have tried and shared many of your receipes so thank you thank you thank you!!
As for a crafty thing.... I don't know if you have ever tried your kids in a baby sling or not but I just made a very simple ring sling for a friend of mine who is expecting her 4th. I wish I had used them because they are great. I found a wonderful link with step by step directions. Let me know if you are interested and congratulations!!!!

I LOVE the bracelet you made for me when I moved. I wear it all the time. You really do a great job on all your crafts. I'd love to just come to your house and watch how you get it all done!

Amy said...

I want that!! I usually don't wear watches because they look so BIG on my scrawny wrist. But, that one is too cute, how could my wrist look anything but awesome wearing it!

Rayna said...

I love those watches! If I don't win I will just have to make one! I like this recycling site http://blah-to-tada.blogspot.com/

courtney said...

I really like those watches which is weird for me I guess because I don't wear jewlrey very much and yet I love those watches. You know my only crafty thing I can kind of do is painting and you already got a set...so I leave my post since I am finally back on line for good and hope to have a chance at winning.

I may be too late, but anyhoo, I ran across a tutorial somewhere that walks you through how to do a Bowtie or Necktie onsie. Basically, you are aplliqueing cut out shapes on a white onesie, but I thought it was a really cute idea! I'm sure you could make cuter samples than the ones shown, but here are the links!

Pick me! Pick me! I'm in envy of all your creative craftiness! I've been meaning to buy the supplies and come for a private beaded watch tutorial at your house, but as you can see, my laziness has gotten the better of me...

I am going to make a little monster doll like you gave Jill Walsman for my new niece/nephew when she/he is born in November.

;)

OOOOHHHH! I was out of town and missed getting a chance for this cute watch. I definitely want to make one of these when my sis's get together or someone else wants to teach me to make one (that can be there and walk me through it- and has the tools).

my sis made one of these for me a while back...we are making them in yw and then for super saturday...super cute and super easy (i think i have made myself 3 more bands...which could also be super addicting!)
