Not Ready For This

Isn't it too early for Kamy to be thinking things like this? Maybe it was some other kid's drawing, and Kamy just happened to be keeping it by her journal. Yeah. I like that idea much better.

oh man, it seems a bit early to me, but then again look at how much times have changed since we were in school. Good luck with that.

I love the way she drew this, with the boy kinda in the foreground and her in the back looking at him. Very nice use of space. I think crushes are funny, remember the one that Lizzie did?

I had little crushes starting in Kindergarten, I remember trying to get one boy in particular to chase me. And there is a girl from Ben's class last year that he complains keeps screaming and running every time she sees him so he will chase her. I had to explain that, "No, that doesn't mean she's being mean, it means she likes you. Girls are weird like that." These early crushes are harmless, I think girls get them long before boys ever even realize girls aren't just boys with longer hair.

It's far from too soon! Kelsie fell for a 'golden haired boy' in her sunbeam class! If you ask me it's super healthy!
