Jilted

Apparently playing outside, all afternoon, wasn't enough for Kamy.  She was upset because I told her that, at 7:30pm, she had to come inside.  It was a long day for me yesterday, and I needed to relax...not be on the lookout anymore.  So she sat at the table and drew this picture.

Girls outside are laughing, playing, riding, and doing all the fun things that Kamy couldn't be part of.  She could only gaze out the window, and suffer.  What a jilted life.

Remember in Mesa? we had to go to bed and it was still light outside? There were kids playing and having fun and we were in our beds....it was super lame and I had the same flood of emotions come to me when I saw this picture, I totally understand how she is feeling. LOL I love this!

The time she spends inside is doing wonders for her artwork. She is becoming an amazing artist.

What a fantastic picture! My kids are often jilted; their neighborhood counterparts all play until dark and they have to come inside much earlier. So sad...

Your children are all gifted with artistic talent. I'm sorry Kamy felt jilted, but I know this too shall pass! Be blessed!

Wow, that is an amazing picture! My kids get upset coming inside before everyone else, but such is life.
