Day 23 CHRISTmas: Going Postal

Today we delivered two loaves of Cranberry Orange Bread to our local Post office.  Kamy walked in and waited her turn to go to the counter. Once there, she explained that we were doing daily service for the month of December, and that they were our service for the day.  "Enjoy the bread", Kamy said with a wave goodbye.  I think the worker was a bit surprised that we didn't want to mail a package or get a book of stamps.  Just a thank you for your hard work.  I hope it made their day brighter.

We also made sure to give our local mail delivery person a goodie as well.  She happened to bring up a package, to our door, and so I gave her a bag of chocolate (most women like chocolate, right?) and I thanked her for her work and wished her a Merry Christmas. She was surprised, but left with a big smile on her face.

SUCH a good idea! I bet they feel super unappreciated because people are probably rude from having to wait in line so long, but its not their fault. Awesome!
