Homework time with Kolby is verifiably the hardest part of my day.  We struggle with focus, attention, desire, accuracy, neatness, willingness, and accountability, regarding Kolby's homework.  What should take 30 minutes usually takes about 4.5 hours.

He is a smart kid. He simply has no desire to do anything he doesn't want to do. So we battle.

Last week, we worked on spelling words every day.  The teacher had finally given him a modified list of 11 words, instead of the 20 words.  Kolby was able to practice the words every day.  On Friday, came the spelling test.

Kolby got 100% of his modified list spelled correctly.  This is a huge accomplishment, for him and for me.  Way to go Kolbers!!  We are so proud of you.  More importantly, Kolby was proud of himself.  That is significant.

Well done, Kolby. How proud your Mom and Dad are of you. I bet you could easily do 20 spellings for next week? Good Luck. Jude.x
