A New Year/ New Goals

The page is blank, on my 2013 book.  It's a perfect time for new begginings. New starts. New goals. New motivation.  I'm going to revist my 2012 goals, and make some more for 2013.

2012 Goals:
1. Lose 30 more pounds through eating right and exercising. (Fail)

2. Say prayers and read scriptures daily. (Moderately Failed)

3. Be a more loving wife and a more patient mother. (Somewhat failed)

4. Become an extreme couponer (I'm so excited about this) and thus build up my family's food storage and save money. (Succeed!)

5. Create photobooks for my kids, for Christmas. (Fail)

6. Make another cookbook (after finding a venue to provide the lowest cost) before Kimble has his next surgery. (Almost done! Plus, I found out that blurb will do ebooks now. Yay!)

7. Successfully start a garden in our back yard. (Succeed)

8. Clean out and organize the garage so that at least one car can have a parking space. (Succeeded, then it got messy again.)

9. Take lots of pictures. (Succeeded?)

Ok, so I didn't succeed at all of them, but I'm here to make more, and be more resolute with my resolutions!

2013 Goals:

Read my scriptures daily/Say prayers daily. (Last year I made it to the end of July, without a day being missed, then I bombed.  I plan to do better this year.)

Blog everyday. Yup.  Every single day.  With the help of Instagram, and mobile blogger on my phone, I'm going  to do this. Some posts may be a simple picture and a simple sentence, and other's will be longer, but expect a blog post daily.  I hope I'm not the only one excited about this!

Lose 30 pounds.  Still a goal set from last year, and I really hope it gets accomplished this year.

Learn to love running by running...a lot.

Become debt free (or get super close) by following the Dave Ramsey system.

Finish second cookbook.

Finish blog books for year 2011 and 2012.

Promote my etsy store, Krinkle Kut, and make our business flourish this year, while focusing on fewer items to sell, managing things better.

Be a better wife/mother/friend.

Grow out my hair.  I'm ready for something different.

Learn a new skill.

Great goals! And I think it's important to focus on the successes! I just saw a book called Run Your Butt Off written for beginner runners, it might be a good one to take a peek at. Good luck in all you do, Shaina! You are a beautiful, wonderful woman and I am so happy to have you as a friend!
